Access Bank Paid Mariah Carey 1 Million Dollars For End Of The Year Gig.

Access bank invited American singer and song writer, Mariah Carey to Nigeria to perform on December 14, 2013 for it's outgoing Managing Director Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede. It has been revealed that Mariah Carey was paid one million dollars by Access Bank for the performance that steered up controversy.
Sources say the former Managing Director is a very big fan of Mariah and requested that the US star performed at the event at all cost.

Access Bank covered all the expense of flying the super star and her live band into the country. This same bank disengaged thousands of workers since 2012 and has been in court since February 2013 with about 1,500 employees of the bank who claim the bank ‘illegally withheld, manipulated and mismanaged’ their gratuities and severance packages.

Attendees of the event refers to it as extravagant and lavish as everything was available in abundance and they just laid off about 200 workers.
