American singer-songwriter, actress, author, philanthropist and multi instrumentalist, Dolly Parton revealed that she and her husband are already planning to renew their wedding vows on their 50th anniversary. Although the anniversary is two years away, they are already making preparations ahead.
The country music star says her husband, Carl Thomas Dean doesn't like travelling therefore, it will be a big wedding in Tennessee where they both live.
She said to closerweekly.com, “We've talked about that—we might do it all over again! Another big wedding.” Dolly Parton was just 20 years when she got married and has been married since May 30, 1966. Referring to themselves, she said,
“We’re both pretty much old mountain goats.” “We will probably be at our big old plantation home. We love it there, Carl doesn't like to fly.”Once many, many years ago, he went with me to Hawaii, and he enjoyed that, but he never wanted to go anywhere else. He’s happy staying home and I’m happy traveling"It is very interesting they still get along well even with their travelling differences and how much her job can take her away. This is a blessing and we are very happy for them. 50 years of marriage is a great deal as a celebrity.
